Phil's Background and Experience
- Born and raised in Smithfield UT – Until 11 years old
- Family moved to his mother’s family farm – Kanesville (Now West Haven)
- Milked cows every morning and evening on the family dairy farm
- Graduated from Roy High School
- Played football and wrestled for Roy High School
- Played football one year at Snow College
- Fulfilled church mission to Alaska
- Completed Bachelor's Degree - Business Management
- Family man married 42 years to Lorna Jenkins Meyer (4th generation – born and raised in Plain City) and raised 4 children in Plain City
- Volunteer youth sports coach
- Has lived in Plain City for 40 years
- Served community - 2 years Planning Commission and - 2 terms (8) years elected City Council
- Works for International oil and gas pipeline maintenance company – 10 years
- Served in various capacities for his church over the past 40 years
- Phil is an avid runner, and enjoys hiking, boxing, and spending time with his grandkids in his free time
